Engineering Talent Demand Gauge Week of February 26th, 2024
Demand for this week remains at three however it is the closest we’ve seen it get to two since Wright began recording this data. There are currently 3.13 open jobs for each engineer seeking new employment. This means that the demand for engineers continues to decrease in 2024 however we still believe this is temporary. Many of our clients, for example, are still finalizing their 2024 budgets and hiring plans. An uptick is predicted as we move into Q2.
