Eligibility: US Permanent Residency is required for this role. No C2C.
Position Summary
The Ivanti Specialist is the primary hands-on technical expert responsible for configuring, developing, implementing, and optimizing our client’s Ivanti platform. This role translates business and technical requirements into working solutions, including service requests, forms, workflows, approvals, automations, integrations, and self-service capabilities. This is a hands-on focused role. The successful candidate will personally build, test, deploy, troubleshoot, and support solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 8+yrs of hands-on experience with Ivanti ITSM, Ivanti Neurons, or a closely related enterprise service management platform.
- Demonstrated experience personally building workflows, forms, business rules, approvals, notifications, and automations.
- Experience implementing and supporting enterprise integrations using REST APIs, JSON, authentication methods, and scripting.
- Working knowledge of PowerShell, Active Directory / Entra ID, service management practices, and application integration patterns.
- Ability to gather requirements, recommend a practical approach, and independently deliver a production-ready solution.
- Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to balance rapid delivery with security, reliability, supportability, and governance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience integrating Ivanti with SailPoint or another identity governance platform.
- Experience implementing identity access requests, provisioning, deprovisioning, onboarding, offboarding, and termination workflows.
- Experience supporting SOX-controlled or audit-sensitive business processes.
- Experience with enterprise service catalogs, request fulfillment, API integrations, and workflow orchestration.
- Ivanti technical certifications or comparable evidence of advanced platform expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Design, Build, and Implement Solutions
- Configure and deploy Ivanti service requests, forms, workflows, business rules, and automations.
- Build approval processes, notifications, escalations, routing, and fulfillment workflows.
- Create and maintain service catalog offerings and self-service experiences.
- Convert manual processes into practical, supportable automated workflows.
- Own technical delivery from requirements and solution design through build, testing, deployment, and support.
- Rapidly prototype solutions and adjust them based on stakeholder and user feedback.
Platform Administration and Optimization
- Optimize existing workflows, configurations, platform performance, and user experience.
- Troubleshoot platform defects, configuration issues, and recurring operational problems.
- Integration Development
- Develop and support integrations between Ivanti and enterprise applications using APIs and available integration capabilities.
- Build, test, and troubleshoot data exchanges, authentication, error handling, and workflow triggers.
- Support integrations with SailPoint, Active Directory / Entra ID, ERP platforms, and security and infrastructure tools.
- Coordinate end-to-end testing and production rollout with application owners and technical teams.
Process Automation and Continuous Improvement
- Partner with IT and business teams to identify high-value automation opportunities.
- Simplify and standardize processes before automating them.
- Measure workflow effectiveness and continuously improve cycle time, reliability, adoption, and user experience.
Technical Leadership, Governance, and Support
- Establish practical platform standards, reusable patterns, documentation, and development practices.
- Ensure solutions support security, audit, SOX, change management, and operational requirements.
- Provide hands-on coaching and knowledge transfer to administrators, analysts, and support teams.
- Lead technical workshops and work directly with vendors when specialized support is required.
