Senior Technical Sales Specialist – Southeast

Wright Technical Services is seeking a motivated Sales Representative for a Fortune 500 client in the industrial Automation Space. The ideal candidate will have experience driving sales growth and developing initiatives to support specific capital equipment brands within an assigned territory.

 

Responsibilities:

 

– Drive profitable sales and develop strategic initiatives for main and sub-brands.

– Manage sales opportunities from start to finish, focusing on assigned portfolio wins.

– Analyze market trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.

– Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.

– Travel as required (minimum 25%), attending trade shows, meetings, and client events.

– Utilize SalesForce to accurately track sales activities and provide feedback on marketing efforts.

– Conduct product demonstrations and share knowledge to enhance team performance.

 

Skills:

 

– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

– 3+ years in large capital equipment sales, ideally in robotics/automation.

– Experience in Structural Steel, Offshore, Heavy Fabrication, or similar industries.

– Proven sales growth record with a territory worth over $10 million.

– Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.

– Located in the Southeast region, ideally near a HUB airport.

– Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; able to communicate effectively in live and virtual settings.
