Wright Technical is excited to partner with a leading manufacturing client located in southeastern Pennsylvania. They are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mold Designer / Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in mold design, particularly in the medical device sector, and have a passion for delivering innovative and efficient design solutions.

Responsibilities:

– Lead and manage complete injection mold design projects from conception through to production.

– Utilize SolidWorks to create detailed mold designs, ensuring precision and compliance with industry standards.

– Collaborate with engineers, manufacturing staff, and quality assurance teams to optimize mold functionality and manufacturability.

– Conduct mold flow analyses to identify potential design challenges and implement effective solutions.

– Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mold design technology.

– Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members to foster skill development and team cohesion.

Qualifications:

– Proven experience in mold design, specifically with injection molds for medical devices.

– Proficiency in SolidWorks.

– Strong understanding of Class 101 tooling standards and requirements.

– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

– Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
