Field Service Engineer
Compensation: $35-$50/hr.

Wright Technical is supporting an integrator client in the industrial pipe and tubing space in need of a field service engineer to join their growing team. Individual will provide technical support, including troubleshooting, repair, installation, maintenance, and training on various types of industrial automation equipment.
JOB DESCRIPTION
– Provide technical support, solve problems, maintain systems, and deliver a consistent, positive customer service experience.
– Work independently on programming, debugging, integrating, testing, and installations.
– Conduct industrial troubleshooting in electrical, wiring, PLC, HMI, robot logic/path programming, and networks.
– Meet challenging project timelines and budgets.
– Travel as required for installation, start-up, or field support.
– Communicate effectively to provide detailed reports and updates.
– Assist in-house customer service support (phone, email, training, etc.).
– Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner per ISO requirements.
– Identify opportunities for preventative maintenance, training, and service support with customers.
REQUIREMENTS
– Technical degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience is required.
– Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical prints.
– Machine programming (PLC/HMI) experience.
– Safety system and network programming and troubleshooting experience preferred.
– Hydraulic/pneumatic/lubrication system troubleshooting experience preferred.
– Experience with in-field installation and start-up of manufacturing equipment.
– Willingness to travel up to 70% to customer locations, including domestic and occasional international.
– Flexibility to work on-call as required to support customer needs.
– Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
– Customer-focused with the ability to interface positively at all organizational levels.
